Cumberland Council are looking for caring, resilient, and motivated individuals to join our Children’s Homes team as Residential Support Workers. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide high-quality, person-centred care to children and young people aged 8-18.

You’ll help create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can grow in confidence, develop life skills, and feel heard and supported.
- We’re looking for individuals with experience in residential care or youth support, ideally holding (or working towards) a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare. You’ll need strong communication skills, emotional resilience, and the ability to work flexibly - including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins. In return, you’ll join a supportive team committed to making a lasting impact, with opportunities for ongoing training, development, and career progression.
