**As the Sales Order Processor you will enjoy**:

**As the Sales Order Processor you will be responsible for**:
- Processing all customer orders, matching to quotation if applicable and coded by Technical/Sales Support
- Checking stock and or delivery times from supplier and advising customer accordingly
- Processing all PO’s to suppliers to meet customer requirements
- Liaising with suppliers regarding delivery and dispatching goods to customers using most appropriate means
- Ensuring all goods received are in good order and match PO and DN
- Processing all purchase delivery notes, Works Orders and purchase invoices using SAP
- Ensuring goods required on call-off by customer are maintained either on stock or by delivery schedule
- Making any necessary adjustments for stock items used by repairs and service
- Maintaining stock ledgers, including demonstration stock. Ensuring all new stock codes, including nominal ledger coding, are updated
- Running complete stock check at year end and making any necessary adjustments to levels or values, after authorisation from FAM
- Maintaining the quality manual and controlled documentation, including the issue of all new Company forms
- Maintaining the staff training records applicable to the quality manual
- Planning all quality audits and commissioning the correct member of staff to undertake the audit and recording all audit results
- Maintaining register of non-compliance and resultant actions
- Organising bi-annual attendance of Quality Assessor, and ensure any actions highlighted by these visits are completed
- Assisting with incoming calls, general office administration including post, stationery orders, filing etc
- Processing all statements and debt chase letters in accordance with customer’s payment terms
- Maintaining credit control spreadsheet notes
- Processing all sales receipts made by either BACS or cheque
- Liaising with freight forwarders and carriers to obtain the best possible level of service and price and ensuring that they are informed of any changes to regular dispatch
- Answering customer queries progressing orders, pricing or delivery queries
- Processing price updates throughout the year on SAP
**To succeed as the Sales Order Processor you will have**:
- Proven ability to produce clear accurate reports using a variety of tools
- Ability to fully utilise computerised and manual systems to provide maximum efficiency of office procedures
- Evidence of experience of Microsoft Office, SAP, database packages and report writing tools
- The ability to display a high level of initiative to contribute to the on-going continuous improvement of best office practice
- The ability to communicate effectively and be a team player
- Experience of customer service, stock control, ISO 9001 quality system
