Stirling Trailer Centre Ltd is part of H&R Gray Haulage Ltd who are a long-established family business providing top quality services of selling and hiring trailers, trucks, parts and workshop repairs and maintenance.
This is an exciting opportunity within our growing Parts department for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team and oversee the department. As Parts Supervisor your work will be varied, primarily responsible for maintaining the smooth day to day running of the Parts department ensuring comprehensive support is provided to both the public and workshop.
**Responsibilities**:
Consistently carry out Parts procedures including ordering, deliveries and collections, inventory, returns, sales and advertising.
Ensure that the Parts display and stores are tidy and always organised while following safe practices and Health & Safety regulations.
Liaise with Accounts department to carry out administrative duties in relation to the role.
Maintain a thorough and current product knowledge.
Deal effectively with customers and staff with excellent communications skills.
Monitor sales and stock levels regularly while contributing to the development of the department to meet goals.
Support the Parts team with training and development.
Experience in a similar role.
Strong communication skills with a positive attitude.
Excellent organisation skills and a good eye for detail.
Ability to work on own initiative and work within deadlines.
Confident IT skills.
Proactive approach and flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks.
Valid Driving Licence.
Working hours will be 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with alternate Saturday’s 8.00am to 12.00pm.
Salary £30,000.00 to £35,000.00 (depending on experience)
