**Summary and purpose of the Job**:
Wavenet is seeking a proactive and responsible Stores & Purchasing Assistant to assist in our warehouse to fulfil orders by picking items and shipping, along with processing purchase orders and assist with the sourcing of equipment and services from vendors.

This role is responsible for raising the Purchase Orders on our Finance system, therefore previous experience of Sage is advantageous. You will monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand of goods within the business, utilising the trends of opportunities in the pipeline. As well as the management of small projects across the business, both customer facing and internal.

In addition to raising the Purchase Orders, this role is responsible for liaising with the end customer to ensure the goods have been delivered and accepted, so excellent customer service skills are a must.

As new orders come into the business the Procurement Administrator will work alongside the other members of the Procurement team to ensure all the relevant information is received in order to raise purchase orders in a timely manner. You will need to be a team player and able to develop strong internal relationships to deliver customer requirements.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Fulfil orders by picking items and shipping.
- Receive packages and verifying their contents against the purchase order.
- Liaising with Workshop to ensure all items are check and tested before being shipped.
- Raising the Purchase Orders on the system and sending to the relevant supplier/vendor
- Highlight any issues or risks to the Purchase Orders i.e. price mis-match
- Ensuring price checks have been completed against the Sales Order
- Management of small hardware/software only orders
- Ad hoc administration tasks if and when required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 15kg.
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to.
- A professional approach to all stakeholder relationships, including the ability to build trust and credibility.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure order fulfilment and inventory tracking
- Will be IT literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent communicator in both written and verbal communications

- Sage 200
- Telecoms industry
- Working with vendors/suppliers
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment such as pallet trucks, stock control

This role is a full-time role working 37.5 hours each week from 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday.

The role is based working out of our Kidderminster office, which is situated Stourport Rd, Kidderminster DY11 7QH. There may be requirements for occasional travel to other locations.
