Fp&a Analyst

The FP&A Analyst will be instrumental in creating value to Finance and the company, through insightful analysis, robust budgeting processes and forecasting scenario modelling capability.

My client are a well established leading business based in West Kent, they have a strong history of being successful.

**Description**
- Standardise and coordinate the quarterly forecasting process including bringing clarity on ownership, accountabilities, timescales, and required outputs.
- Develop long range scenario modelling capability for strategic planning purposes.
- Assist in preparing Board level presentations to communicate trends, forecasts and annual budgets.
- Key contributor to setting and monitoring KPIs.
- Build business partnering capabilities through providing insight and analysis as well as challenging existing targets / the norm.
- Key contributor to the roll out of the new cloud-based forecasting & planning system modules (excel initially).
- Provide support to the FD and the wider finance team with ad-hoc projects focused on identifying opportunities to optimise the business and drive performance, as well as other finance initiatives.

**Profile**
- Demonstrate in-depth prior experience of modelling and data analysis.
- Demonstrate prior experience of working cross-functionally, obtaining insights from stakeholders outside of finance.
- Demonstrate the ability to build working partnerships across the organisation and create value.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication including proven ability to provide accurate, clear, concise and timely information.
- Prior experience and knowledge of working with cloud-based accounting software experience would be advantageous, but not required.
- Advanced Excel skills is a must as well as a good knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate the ability to generate innovative solutions and new ways of working.
- Prior experience of drawing data from an accounting system.
- Part qualified / Finalist CIMA/ACCA.
