**Contract: 12 months**
**Location: Hybrid working - Reading (1 day per week) & working from home**

As a key contributor to International / EMEA Accounting team you'll be using your expertise to create and execute accounting processes, analyse data, advise the team, and support your colleagues. Our finance team is the best in the business, so come be apart of the team that keeps our financial operations accurate, compliant, and running like clockwork. Your main responsibilities will be to support the production of the local statutory accounts and compliance for Outsourced operating companies (opcos).
- Responsible for sharing of accounting documents from multiple sources with External Outsourced provider for 16 legal entities
- Monthly reconciliation of outsourced statutory accounting records with group accounts in NSAP.
- Producing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and uploading into the balance sheet reconciliation repository.
- Manage the delivery of accounting processes performed by external vendors ensuring all service levels are met, the internal control environment is robust and a quality service is provided
- Ensuring compliance and adherence with controls for internal policies and external regulations.
- Identifying opportunities for systems and process improvements, and working closely with internal teams or service providers to ensure improvement opportunities are implemented.

**Ideal Skill set**
Qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
Fully proficient using SAP
Ability to process general ledgers, reconciliations, trail balance, debt and credits
Knowledge of multi currency and inter-company transactions
Experience working within a multinational company
Flexible individual who can cope with competing demands and tight deadlines.
IFRS knowledge
Exceptional analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to understand details and pull out key messages
Excellent IT systems knowledge and experience - Excel, SAP
