**Senior Sommelier - Murano by Angela Hartnett - up to £15.00 per hour**

Set in the heart of Mayfair, one Michelin starred Murano restaurant is the home of renowned chef Angela Hartnett. The cuisine is Modern European with a strong Italian influence and the service focus warm and friendly.

We are looking for a Sommelier who is passionate about what they do.

- Provide charismatic, warm and engaging service with the aim to deliver a memorable experience for all our guests
- Run wine service in place of the senior team
- Assist in managing stock
- Have a love for wines & spirits and passion for developing your knowledge further
- Have equal passion for food and hospitality
- Be an excellent team player with exceptional communication skills
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar, fast-paced environment
- WSET 3 or equivalent an advantage

**Senior Sommelier Responsibilities**:

- Accurately suggest drinks to guests that best suit their style preferences and budget as well as pairing with food where required
- Drive wet revenue with suggestive sales and upselling techniques
- Ensure guests in your section always have necessary wine, water or other beverages throughout their experience
- Assist in other sections where required, once your tables are fully satisfied
- Follow opening and closing procedures as set out by management
- Run wine service in the absence of the Head and Assistant Head Sommelier by taking orders /making recommendations to guests, overseeing the sommelier team & signing off all guests bills
- Guide and support junior members of the team during service to ensure necessary standards are being met and exceeded
