**Project Support Worker** - **Annual salary of £25,349 (FTE)**: - **Permanent role**: - **Part-time and flexible working patterns available**: - **Based in Rochdale** **The role** In this rewarding role, you will provide support to service users at our projects. You will need to be able to work sympathetically with service users who have been homeless and have complex needs. You’ll work to empower service users, actively engaging them with the community and helping them to support each other, to develop resilience, to live independently and to be an asset to the community. You may be required to work on a rota basis. **This post is open to Female only as the role is required at the Women’s Only projects** **The right fit** - You’ll have experience of working with people who have complex needs such as mental health issues and drug / alcohol misuse. - You will be someone who thrives working as an effective team member. - You’ll possess the ability to address equality and diversity issues and an understanding of the needs of volunteers and service users. - You will be able to develop service user, volunteer and community involvement and work in an enabling way, including facilitating group activities. **Who we are** Petrus provides support services for people facing homelessness or in housing need.
