A **Contracts Manager** is required ASAP to work for a well-established Fast Track Refurb Contractor based in North Herts operating for the last 15 years and expanding. Ideally you will be situated within a 45 minute drive from the offices andseeking a long term commitment in your next role.

Covering areas within London and the Home Counties you will be responsible for Managing Contracts that are Leisure Industry focussed although other sectors covered include Hospitality, Commercial, Education and High End Residential.

As the Contracts Manager, you will have responsibility for up to 4 Projects at any on time and be get involved with the securing of New Projects.

**Contracts Manager - Responsibilities**
- Arrange adequate resources for project delivery, safety and standards of work
- Monitor safety, liaising with directors, the Health and Safety team and site staff as required
- Monitor the competence of site staff and sub-contractors in line with the company policies and procedures on safety, welfare and environment
- Oversee all aspects of site management on your sites, regularly visiting to inspect, offer support and adherence to agreed program/ quality and building regulations
- Manage the overall job performance. Work with the commercial team on cost advice, unexpected works, understand the tender and agreed standards. Provide recourses to enable customer care issues to be resolved effectively
- Manage effective communication between site and office
- Liaise with client’s staff to provide effective delivery of projects
- Work to develop, mentor and train others

**Contracts Manager - Position Requirements**
- Experience (preferably but not essentially) in a Contracts Manager position in the Leisure sector
- Effective oral and written skills
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Very strong organisational skills
- Ability to use a tablet/ basic computer knowledge
- Health & safety on construction sites - Qualification recognised
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Self-motivated

**Contracts Manager - Position Remuneration**
- Salary £50,0000 to £55,000 plus bonus
- Statutory Pension
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
