Our Therapy Assistants are highly valued members of our clinical team who help us to deliver excellent care and rehabilitation to an extremely varied cohort of patients. You will be closely supported by the team which, depending on location, is compromised of Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Assistants and Administrators.
We are looking to recruit someone who can contribute to the positive culture of our team, engage with staff and patients respectfully, and conduct their work in a professional manner. The role will encompass:
A ssist ing the physiotherapists in the delivery of individual and group exercise programmes. This may involve delivering exercise sessions, hands on therapies such as massage and patient education. Training is provided in any of the modalities used. All patients are initially assessed by the physiotherapist.
E nsur ing stock and equipment levels are maintained and re-ordered on a regular basis and that equipment is well maintained and clean in line with infection control guidelines.
C arry ing own new patient caseload with simple predictable conditions and those delegated by a therapist.
A ssist ing in the administrative duties of the physiotherapy service when required, including reception duties, data inputting, photocopying, assisting with audits and completing patient records.
