Supporting our Fire Stoppers and Joiners you will predominantly be working in live environments such as social housing, schools and hospitals.

**Your duties will include**:

- Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint
- Handling planning and prep work in an efficient manner
- Preparing the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes
- Removing fixtures such as door knobs and light switch covers
- Taping off areas as needed
- Choosing and purchasing paint, brushes, and other supplies from vendors
- Cleaning up supplies and replacing fixtures when project is complete
- Communicating with customers

**Essential skills**:

- Show competent IT literacy skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work on own initiative and willing to involve others
- Must be physically fit as role is primarily of a manual nature.
- Must have full and clean driving license.
- Must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be flexible in their approach.
- Be able to communicate well and work independently.
- Be organised and efficient

**Renumeration**:
This is a grade 2 role with the following benefits:

- Hourly rate up to £13.50 (dependant on experience)
- Hours of work 39
- 08:00 - 16:30(Mon to Thurs)
- 08:00 - 15:30(Fridays)
- Holidays 29 days holiday per annum (including 8 statutory holiday days) rising by 1 day for each year of service up to a maximum 33 days / annum.
- Fully expensed company van and fuel car
