We have a new and exciting opportunity within our Volunteering Team at the Motor Neurone Disease Association for a Volunteering Digital Projects Officer. This vacancy is a 2-year Fixed Term Contract based at our national office in Northampton with Hybridworking.

**About the role**
As a Volunteering Digital Projects Officer, you will be working with teams across the Association to successfully implement digital products that support the work carried out by volunteers. The key purpose of this role is to effectively plan and coordinatemultiple digital projects across our volunteering work, and mitigate any challenges encountered, successfully introducing new systems such as Microsoft 365 to volunteers and provide technical and user support through training and guidance.
This role will see you providing digital expertise within the volunteering team, supporting the ongoing development of key systems, ensuring staff and volunteers have access to the tools required for a positive volunteer experience.
You will need to translate digital information to volunteers who may not possess digital knowledge or experience, it is important that you have a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and are able to effectively communicate how systems work and their benefitsto a wide audience.
Digital inclusion is a vital aspect of this role, you will lead on digital inclusion for volunteers, ensuring that the MND Association's approach supports those who do not have skills, knowledge, or access to suitable equipment.
**What are we looking for?**
This role will involve effective collaborative working with teams across the Association and supporting volunteers, excellent communication and project management/coordination skills are essential.
The ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience is vital. You will need to have an excellent understanding of ICT terms, systems, and processes. You will work closely with our ICT team but also be able to provide an engaging, user-friendly,and inclusive approach to volunteers.
Further keys skills include the ability to analyse volunteer data, listening to user feedback, and the ability to effectively involve volunteers in project developments, encouraging engagement and innovation.
