As a Senior Specialist - Legal & Compliance, you will provide legal support to the Accelya Group General Counsel. Your objective will be to protect the organization from legal risk. You will primarily have responsibility to support and advise on commercial and operational legal risk matters such as contracting, IP and data.

**What will you do?**
- Accountable for support to business to draft, negotiate and close contracts.
- To give direction and legal support on data issues and data privacy.
- Oversees intellectual property and support to business on protecting its intellectual property rights.
- Provide advice and support to HR as appropriate.
- Support and advice on litigation.
- Build relationships with business colleagues and provide excellence in customer focused service.
- Instruct and manage outside counsel (across multiple jurisdictions)

**What do you need to know?**
- Solid experience in as lawyer (preferably with exposure to IT/Telecoms industries) in either in-house or private practice.
- Specialist experience in core legal commercial domains (contract law, data, intellectual property). Experience in projects/deals with a cross-border or international make-up.
- Degree in law.
- Appropriate legal qualification (registered or licensed Attorney, Lawyer, Solicitor or Barrister) or similar international qualification
