Pixel Personnel are currently working with Cambridgeshire County Council in recruiting for an interim Team Manager to join their Children in Care Service based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Excellent rates on offer at £40 per hour (Umbrella) based on 37 hoursper week.An exciting opportunity has arisen within Cambridgeshire County Councils Children in Care Team based in Ely and we are seeking to recruit a Team Manager to join us.We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills and a passion for workingwith vulnerable families whilst holding systemic theory and practice central to your exemplary Social work.The applicant will be able to demonstrate that they can think creatively in delivering targeted support, will have a significant level of knowledge andexperience in children's social care, understanding thresholds and will have proven experience in managing a team of social work staff. This role will include work allocation, performance monitoring, dealing with staffing issues and the training and developmentof the Team.You will have relevant experience working in Children's Social Care and be familiar with child protection systems and processes, court work and working with children who are in care.
