We are seeking an innovative and dedicated Lecturer in Instrumentation and Control to join our vibrant engineering department. You will deliver high-quality teaching, engage in cutting-edge research, and contribute to curriculum development in the field of instrumentation, control systems, and automation. **What You’ll Be Doing**:
As a Lecturer in Instrumentation and Control, you will:

- Deliver and manage high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment in Instrumentation and Control systems within the Engineering sector.
- Provide both hands-on and theoretical instruction in specialised areas, such as Instrumentation and Control systems.
- Support students in their academic and personal development, enabling them to reach their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the student learning experience and address the diverse needs of all learners.
- Contribute to student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression by offering tailored guidance and support.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Are a qualified Teacher or are willing to work towards achieving this qualification**:

- Are a qualified Assessor or are willing to work towards achieving this qualification.
- Hold a minimum Level 5 qualification in Instrumentation Engineering.
- Have GCSEs at Grade C / Level 4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications.
- Possess relevant industrial experience in the field of Instrumentation - Essential
- Have current knowledge and/or experience of teaching in one or more fields of Instrumentation Engineering - Desirable

- _The Lecturer Salary Scale is from Pt 5 - Pt 16. The salary progression criteria beyond point 11 of the Lecturer scale will be based on you achieving and maintaining, on an annual basis, the Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) & QTS. To progress beyond point 14 of the Lecturer salary scale, you will be expected to achieve and maintain the Advanced Teacher Status (ATS)._
