**Swift Temps** are looking for amazing and energetic colleagues to start work on an ongoing basis for their chilled distribution centre based in their **Skelmersdale CDC** site.

**GUARANTEED A MINIMUM OF 40 HOURS PER WEEK ( This role is working over weekends)**

**This role is voice order picking in a chilled environment so please bear this in mind when applying.**

**The shifts available are either 6am till 2pm or 2pm to 10pm.**

The pay rates are:

- **For the first 12 weeks of training, hours are paid**
- 6am-2pm **£11.35**:

- 2pm-10pm **£12.82**

**After 12 weeks the rates go up to**
- 6am-2pm **£11.99**:

- 2pm-10pm **£13.58**

**After 27 weeks the rates go up to**
- 6am-2pm **£12.99**:

- 2pm-10pm **£14.58**

Working a minimum of **40 hrs week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis which includes a Saturday & Sunday** so flexibility is required in regards to the working days and hours. Overtime hours are paid at a premium.

**Typical shift pattern would be Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday, however initially there will be a requirement to complete 4 days worth of training during the week.**

**Responsibilities**
- Pick Orders using either Paper or Voice Activated Headsets
- Locate products using technology when using the voice pick headset
- Pick orders according to quantity, size, etc. ensuring accuracy
- Pick orders and stack onto a Pallet on Manual Pump truck
- Position completed orders in designated bays or cages
- Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
- Hand in completed pick sheets
- Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
- Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards
- Clean as you go policy in force

**Skills**
- Experience as an order picker or other warehouse position is preferred although full training is provided
- Experience in handling pump truck and other warehouse equipment
- Experience in voice picking systems is ideal but not essential
- Able to read and write conversational English
- Great attention to detail
- Diligent and punctual
