**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Organising engineer diaries on online software, training provided.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Liaise with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems or processes as required.
- Provide support to other departments regarding financial queries and issues.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is essential.
- Extremely high levels of customer service.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage is required.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and bookkeeping principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for liaising with team members and customers.
