Automotive Parts Inspector / Stores required to join an automotive manufacturers Stores department based in Nuneaton paying £19.00 per hour.

They are currently recruiting for a Automotive Parts Inspector / Stores to join their Team onsite at Mira in Nuneaton. This is an ongoing contract with no end date in sight.

The team centres around an Issue Diagnosis Centre comprising of its own workshop and offices based at Mira where an extensive range of testing facilities are available to replicate failures and test parts whilst working collaboratively with suppliers andengineers to diagnose the warranty issue.

The successful Automotive Parts Inspector / Stores will be responsible for ensuring the Stores department is running smoothly and all parts are available for the team as they need them as well as Parts Inspection and Quality reviews on parts.

The Automotive Parts Inspector / Stores duties are as follows:

- Goods in, receiving deliveries
- Checking the automotive parts delivered against despatch notes
- Booking goods into an in-house computer system
- Methodical allocation of automotive prototype parts
- Issuing of automotive parts to technicians
- Parts and Quality checking on warranty claimed components
- Parts inspections
- Running of the stores and updating IT systems

The ideal Automotive Parts Inspector / Stores:

- Will ideally have some knowledge of automotive parts
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems is important
- Inspection experience is needed
- Experience of receiving and checking delivered goods, ideally automotive parts
- Ability to use in-house computer systems
- Ability to liaise with a wide variety stakeholders both internally and externally
- Organised, Methodical, Self-motivated, Proactive and Reliable
- Must recognise safe workshop practices, including Health & Safety.
- Full UK Driving License Required (6 points maximum)

Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday 7.00am-15.30pm, Friday 7.00am-12.30pm (30 minute lunch break)
- A flexible attitude towards working hours is needed as overtime will be required on occasion._

Pay Rate:£19.00 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)
