Support Worker in Mental Health and Learning

We at BS Social Care are delighted to offer a fantastic position for one of our valued clients based in Chorley.
You will be working in a mixed gender 4 bed unit supporting service users with complex needs in mental health and learning disabilities. The role will be temporary and can accommodate full time or part time workers with a combination of early and late shiftsbetween 8am and 11pm with sleep ins also available. The scheme that our client runs is for adults with learning difficulties and mental health who need support with day-to-day living providing personal care and outreach. The environmental is very relaxed.A typical day includes cooking, cleaning, bathing, and fun activities throughout the day. You will be working as part of a team and will never be left alone. Training will be given in the form of a shadow shift.
You will ideally have experience within the learning disabilities and mental health sector and will have the ability to support the tenants with day to day living.
Qualifications are not essential but knowledge on safeguarding will be required and some experience within the sector.
