**Job title: AWS DevOps Engineer**

**Salary: £80K--£90K**

My client currently is looking for a highly experienced, capable AWS DevOps engineer to work with their outsourced platform design/architect team in the implementation and support of the platform hosting their software as a Service solution for media planning.

Responsibility:

- Lead the implementation and support of the AWS platform capable of supporting customers around the globe (multiple regions/AZ's).
- Ensuring the platform meets the requirements of a well-architected design, is robust, scalable, high-performance and highly resilient.
- The creation and running of a virtual Network Operations Centre responsible for monitoring of the platform and the creation of alerts and recovery processes for any breach.
- Ensuring the platform cost-optimized and to work with the team to understand the cost/benefit analysis of design considerations.
- Ensuring resilience is baked into both platform design and operational processes to guarantee uptime and zero single points of failure

My client is looking for someone with the following skills:

- Experience in the delivery of multi-tenanted AWS systems for a global market
- At least 5 years' experience in managing and maintaining AWS platforms
- Battle-hardened, hand-on, practical experience in working with the followingAWS technologies (in order of priority);- AWS Control Tower
- AWS SSO
- AWS Backup
- AWS Cloud Formation / Cloud Watch
- AWS Code Pipeline
- AWS Lambda
- AWS Cognito
- AWS Aurora
- AWS Fargate
- Terraform
- Experience with REST, XML, JSON, and/or web service experience
- Significant experience with the tools needed for managing roadmaps, sprints and development activities - such as Jira, Confluence, Aha and similar technologies.
- Strong working partnership with dev/ops where platform considerations will be critical to the design and delivery of the complete solution.
- Experience with agile methodologies, lean, and Continuous Improvement (CI)
- Minimum of a BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required
- AWS Certifications as appropriate
