**Activities Co-ordinator (**Towerview Care - **Veronica House Nursing Home)**

**Part-Time posts over 7 days per week - weekend working included - **£9.50ph**

**Supporting people living with dementia, mental health and behaviours that may challenge.**

Towerview Care provide nursing care to ladies and gentlemen of working and older age who have mental health and complex challenging care needs.

An Activity Co-ordinator is required to work at our friendly care home, Veronica House Nursing Home based in Tipton, DY4 0DX.

We are looking for a kind, caring, creative and confident individual to work with our ladies and gentlemen in enhancing their lives.

You will work with the Occupational Therapist to deliver individual and group activities that are therapeutically beneficial.

In addition you will plan and implement activities appropriate to those who reside at the home and organise fundraising events.

You will be a team player with a proven ability to work on your own initiative to develop and organise a range of events / activities, be a good communicator with great organisational skills.

A genuine interest in working with the people who reside at Towerview Care is essential as is a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

Previous experience of working with people with mental health needs and complex care is desirable together with a qualification in remedial / occupational therapies.
