An exciting opportunity has arisen to join NHS Sussex (known as an Integrated Care Board ICB) and more specifically, the East Sussex and Brighton and Hove Partnerships and Integration Team. As Childrens Services Commissioner you will lead childrens commissioning across East Sussex and Brighton and Hove to improve health and care outcomes for children and young people and reduce health inequalities. Working in partnership across East Sussex and Brighton and Hove with local authorities; healthcare providers; the voluntary and community sector alongside other teams within NHS Sussex, this role is pivotal to improving health and wellbeing of children and young people (including transforming services in collaboration with key partners and stakeholders).

In collaboration with key system partners you will:
With partners (particularly local authorities), and in collaboration with NHS Sussex commissioning teams, lead the commissioning of Childrens Services across the places of East Sussex and Brighton & Hove to ensure commissioned services meet all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements

Lead the commissioning of services that support the transition of young people into adult services.

Research innovative opportunities to support delivery of improved health and wellbeing outcomes for children locally

Provide specialist advice in relation to the childrens services commissioning
