We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Inspections & Maintenance Engineer** to join us based across **Northwest England & North Wales.**You will join us on a **full-time, permanent basis,** and in return, you will receive a **competitive salary of £27,000 - £29,000 per annum depending on experience, plus a benefits package.**

**As our Inspections & Maintenance Engineer, your role will be to**:

- Carry out operational inspections of playgrounds to identify faults, required repaid and report any health and safety concerns on the play equipment
- Carry out maintenance and repairs to playground equipment as necessary
- Establish, maintain and expand customer base
- Always provide outstanding customer service
- Exceptional standards of repair
- Managing effective communication with the office team
- Share technical knowledge with other areas of the business as and when necessary

**What you’ll do as our Inspections & Maintenance Engineer**:

- Ensure maintenance targets are met withing the allocated territory
- Inspecting play areas and the required standard (RPII Operational) and recording findings on inspection software
- Conducting repairs/replacement of play equipment and surfacing
- Identifying opportunities for repair and refurbishment works
- Responding to essential repairs and breakdowns
- Diagnosing faults and liaising with the in-house team to identify correct components, fixtures and fittings
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
- Suggesting improvements around maintenance procedures
- Managing stock and on-board inventory
- Maintain tools and equipment inline with health and safety legislation
- Occasional attendance to existing project installations to carry out repairs, defects and inspections

**Qualities we’re looking for in our Inspections & Maintenance Engineer**:

- PRII Operation preferred
- Welding skills preferred
- Previous experience within a similar role, preferably playground inspections
- Cheerful outlook
- Great communicator both verbally and in writing
- A self-starter able to take the initiative and complete tasks with mínimal supervision
- An ability to work well under pressure
- Good time management
- Efficient and organised
- Relevant technical knowledge
- Critical thinking skills
