**We are looking for a skilled and proactive Office Administrator to join our team at the head office on a full-time basis.**As an Office Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our administrative systems and supporting recruitment and compliance processes. This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking and thrives in a purpose-driven environment.

You will work closely with our leadership team to ensure the best possible service for our young people and a strong, motivated workforce. At 1st Choice Housing Solutions, there is an integral need for all employees to be flexible in response to situations that arise outside of this job description.

**Responsibilities**

As a HR Administrator, your main duties may include but are not limited to:

- Oversee the recruitment process in line with the organisation’s Recruitment and Selection Policy and the Supported Accommodation Regulations 2023.
- Ensure all recruitment practices adhere to the Equality Act 2010 and promote diversity and inclusion.
- Conduct shortlisting and selection processes, ensuring transparency and fairness, and involving senior staff in decision-making.
- Verify references and employment history, ensuring all checks are completed before an offer of employment is made.
- Maintaining confidentiality: ensuring that all personal, financial, and professional data is securely handled and only shared with authorised individuals when necessary.
- Support the registered manager and senior leadership with ad-hoc administrative tasks
- Manage incoming utility bills and council tax bills for homes, request exemptions, and liaise with council departments as needed

**What we’re looking for from you**:
As an Office Administrator, it is important that you have:

- Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years' in an administrative role (experience in health or social care is highly desirable)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.

It is desirable that you have:

- Knowledge of the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 and Safeguarding requirements.
- Knowledge of the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and Update Service.
