answered yes, then look no further - XPO Logistics is recruiting We’re
looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver to join us
based on our site in Leigh

You’ll be working as a Yard Shunter on nights, on a 2000 - 0600 shift
pattern. In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive on
target earnings of £38,100 per annum. You’ll also have access to a variety
of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension,
holiday pay, and many other perks including ongoing training.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

- You’ll be performing trailer movements in our busy regional yard
- You will be driving a Tug on-site so previous experience would be an

advantage
- All work is yard based, no road work is expected
- You must have shunting experience as some manoeuvres are in confined

spaces

What you need to succeed at XPO:

- Ideally LGV / HGV C+E / Class 1 Entitlement on your licence
- If a trained yard shunter without HGV Class 1, we will look to

upskill your current licence
- No more than 6 points, with no DD or DR endorsements present
- CPC and Digital Tacho card
