Choice Care requires experienced Care Assistants for nights eg for wake sits, roving nights, etc. to provide personal care, change position, give medication etc. The clients are often end of Life &/or complex care and have more clinical requirements.

You will be given additional training by a Registered Nurse as required and will be paid for all training time.

You need to have a minimum of 2 years experience in adult health or social care in a regulated care setting and preferably have an NVQ in Adult Health & Social Care or equivalent.

You need to be a driver with use of a car although sometimes you may go out as a double up in a pool car.

Choice Care provides care to clients in Blackburn with Darwen and the surrounding areas along the M65 corridor between Preston & Burnley. We are a Preferred Provider for BWD Social Services as well as providing care for CCG clients and private clients. We are a family business and have been providing care in the area for 23 years

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Be caring and compassionate
- Minimum of two years care experience in a regulated setting
- Preferably be NVQ 2 or 3 qualified in Adult Health & Social Care or equivalent
- Be Reliable
- You must be a driver with use of a car
- Able to work as part of a team as well as use your own initiative
- Have excellent communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour
