Stores Person

**We are looking for a Stores Person within Score Group based at our facility in Peterhead.**

**About the role**

The Stores Person will be responsible for receipt of all goods in and shipping and packaging of all goods out. They will ensure that all goods in and out are processed in line with company standards, have the required certification, are logged in the stores data base and delivered to the relevant stores as required.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Working at the Goods In area and unloading/receiving deliveries for Score Energy
- Follow correct procedures when receipting and adding goods into stock
- Organise stock and maximise storage locations
- Follow Customer specific packaging and shipping requirements relating to goods being returned to customers
- Ensuring goods are correctly packaged when sending out for Sub-con
- Manage and create dispatch documentation ensuring compliance
- Organise courier collections and required AWB’s
- Reporting any day to day issues or queries to stores team leader
- Completing weekly maintenance and lifting equipment checks
- Ensuring care is taken when carrying out forklift (reach truck) tasks especially when transporting heavy goods and working at height within the racking areas
- Recycling and disposal of packaging materials

**Qualifications**
- SVQ level 2 Warehousing and Stores or equivalent is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- A valid driving licence is essential

**Experience**
- Previous experience within a Stores or warehouse environment is prefered
- Previous experience of the equipment and machinery used within a stores/warehouse environment, including forklifts is preferred
- Basic computer skills are essential
- Familiarity with import and export process is desirable
- Previous working knowledge of Dangerous Goods Air, Sea & Road standard is desirable
