This post offers an exciting opportunity within the School of Health Sciences for an enthusiastic, motivated, experienced individual to join the team at Queen Margaret University.
The main objective of this post is to develop early practice-based learning experiences for dietetic students to better reflect current dietetic practice. It is envisaged that developments could include the introduction of students to a range of settings involved in promoting and managing health including the NHS, social care and third sector organisations. The post holder will develop practice-based learning experiences across these settings and will develop appropriate materials to support students in their learning. In addition the post holder will be involved in the development, implementation evaluation of simulation-based placement activities and contribute to the development of a resource library of other simulation activities to enable Dietetic students to meet both professional and registration requirements. The role holder will work with other simulation and placement leads within the School to develop shared resources where appropriate.

There will be opportunity to contribute to the wider learning and teaching of Dietetic and other AHP students and contribute to quality assurance and review processes.
The School with its breadth of professional programmes delivers Physiotherapy, Public Health as well as Therapeutic and Diagnostic Radiography, Nutrition, Dietetics, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Art Therapies, Speech and Hearing Science and Nursing, and as such is in a unique position to develop opportunities for multi-professional and inter-disciplinary learning and teaching and research.
