Stores Person

Cartwright Vehicle Conversions is a conversion manufacturer based in Belton, near Scunthorpe, that offers a wide range of converted vehicles for the commercial market, mobility, ambulance, police, temperature control, and security sectors.

The **Stores Person** is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt and issue of parts within the business.

The role covers all aspects of parts transactions from the unloading and receiving of supplier deliveries, through location control to picking and issuing to the production lines supporting the current production schedule.

Must have the ability to work under pressure at times and be able to deal with multiple requirements / issues.

**Specific Responsibilities**:
The specific responsibilities of the **Stores Person**, but not limited to:

- Physical receipt of inbound parts from suppliers.
- Verification of paperwork, quantities, and initial inspection.
- Computer system receipt against open purchase orders.
- Reporting any discrepancies to the Parts Manager / Purchasing.
- Internal stock counts on consumable items and perpetual inventory cycles.
- System location changes (where applicable) to ensure accuracy.
- Picking parts for production in line with the current production schedule and build stages. Updating the computer system accordingly.
- Movement of parts within stores and the production areas.

**Requirements**:

- Counterbalance / Reach truck licences.
- Previous experience of recording parts movements within business systems.
- Attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
- Team player.
- Health & Safety awareness of working in a production environment.
