Head of Professional Services (Flexible on location, UK)
Leading edge technology solutions company who provides an innovative software defined storage solution to a range of high-profile clients with need for faster collaboration despite dealing with large data challenges. They are looking for an experienced,client focused and front-line manager to head up their professional services function. This will involve the day to day running of the professional services team including hiring, performance management and career development of the team as well as responsibilityfor the billable consulting services of the organisation and delivery / implementation of systems and services to their client base. This will be client facing and involve assisting commercial teams with scoping and costing engagements, resource allocationto ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of services and managing client engagement at a high level to ensure satisfaction. The team will include project management, technical implementation, and support with the responsibility to manage career developmentand objectives. You will need to have a technical background with proven experience of leading the scoping and delivery of technology solutions in complex and challenging environments. You will demonstrate managing customer expectations as well as managinga diverse team. Any experience with high performance computing, storage and networks as week as cloud solutions would be a distinct advantage. Any experience delivering to the media sector would be an advantage. They offer a high growth, challenging and excitingopportunity working with cutting edge solutions within an exciting sector. The role will involve some client facing and the ability to be onsite occasionally as part of the role with flexibility on base beyond this.
