**Overview**

This growing innovative organisation based in Guildford are recruiting for a part or fully qualified Management Accountant to join their team. This is a newly created role due to company growth and you will be joining an expanding organisation that has morethan doubled their turnover & headcount in the last 12 months. This role will be predominately office based and this is a great role for an ambitious & versatile individual who is looking for their next challenge.

**Management Accountant - About the Role**

In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Director and will be working within a finance team of 3. You will be responsible for the production of the monthly management accounts whilst also assisting the Financial Controller with the daily runningof the accounts department.

**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts including all balance sheet reconciliations and profit and loss schedules.
- Production of accurate and timely monthly divisional accounts.
- Variance Analysis of month end figures including margin and overheads.
- Continuous management of accruals, prepayments, provisions, and fixed asset register.
- Working closely with the FC to maintain accuracy of invoice coding.
- Completion of year end audit files and year end liaison with external auditors.
- Responsibility for completion of national statistics as and when required.
- Preparation and submission of VAT Returns.
- Assisting within the department on any other duties as required.

**The successful Management Accountant will have**
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant position
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA part or fully qualified
- Experience within an SME organisation would be advantageous
- Good Excel skills
