Kitchen Porter

**Kitchen Porter - 10am - 2pm**:

We have a brilliant opportunity to work within a busy, fast-paced kitchen. The role is based in term time allowing you plenty of holiday opportunity.

Working with a brilliant team at Ravensbourne School, you will join Culinera’s mission to feed the future tasty, healthy food. You will work in the school kitchen, supporting the chef to keep on top of deliveries, organising the kitchen and keeping everything clean. Attention to detail is key, as well as a remaining calm under pressure. You will need to work with the whole kitchen team to make sure the kitchen is clean, equipment is respected and put away nicely and work with the chef to deliver.

Most importantly you will work as part of a team to ensure lunch is delivered on time. You will be trained in the safe handling of food as well as H&S, Safeguarding and the best kitchen practices.
We like to work hard, and have fun. You will be on your feet for the full shift, so you need to be comfortable with this and be happy to up your step count All we ask for is a can-do positive attitude. If you bring this, we can train and support you with the rest.
Experience working in a kitchen / food prep is beneficial but not necessarily essential - anyone can do this job with the right attitude.

We offer NVQ training and apprenticeships if you would like to develop your skills.
