Support Worker

Alex is quick and very active and enjoys competitive sports. You will have a very high level of fitness, be a quick mover, quick thinker and have a physical presence. You will need to be able to work on your feet all day and walk briskly up to 10-12km per day. The role is best suited to male support workers, although we welcome inquiries from anyone mindful of the challenges when working with a young man with an autism diagnosis. You will be creative in coming up with new activities and things to do with Alex and his peers.

All the team receive a package of annual (paid for) training, including first aid, and also specialist training including NAPPI and positive behavior support. There are weekly team meetings with access to a specialist clinical psychologist, on call support during working hours and access to counselling through our HR provider.

**A variety of hours are available, including full-time and part-time hours, depending on your availability. This can be discussed at the interview stage, but can include working; across a 7 days week planned rota**
**Pay: £14.00 per hour. You may also be required to cover additional shifts on an ad-hoc basis, in order to cover for holidays and sickness with the possibility of sleep-in nights.**
