**Role Title - Retail Assistant - 7.5 hour vacancy (minimum)**

DCK is one of the world's leading fashion jewellery companies, working with many well-known retailers and high street fashion brands. We have over 25 years’ experience in fashion jewellery. We are experts in designing, developing and trading in accessories, working with a wide range of partners and selling directly to consumers. We're currently growing rapidly and opening more new business in the coming months and are looking for experienced retail assistants to join us in this exciting phase of our company.

Our retail associates are key to our business and provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise with the management teams of the brands that we work with. In return, we provide flexible working arrangements, competitive pay and great benefits such as our uniform allowance of at least £25 per month, depending on contract length.

You will be based in **Aberdeen** **but may be required to travel to different locations within your zone, therefore a full, valid driving licence as well as access to your own vehicle is essential. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You must be available work on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and you can complete your contractual hours when the store is open so both morning and evening work are eligible for this role.

You will be working for a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching, communications and ongoing support. We use a number of different Phone Apps to schedule your shifts on our industry leading scheduling system as well as to communicate with other members of your team and DCK via Microsoft Teams, so you will need to be confident with the use of a mobile phone as well as have access to a device with the operating system of either Android 7.0 or later or iOS 13.0 or later.

In addition to your core hours we require all colleagues to provide an additional 50% availability on top of their contracted hours per week that you will be required to work. You are able to choose when and what days you would like the flex hours, giving you the opportunity to increase your working week when convenient for you.

**Job role;**

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

- merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines
- putting out deliveries of new stock
- maintaining housekeeping standards
- setting up promotional activities
- You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

**Requirements;**
- Prior experience in a customer facing setting is required, fashion brands are a plus.
