**Main responsibilities**
- You will be responsible for generating a vehicle parking plan, assessing vehicle availability, and allocating the correct vehicles to specific operations.
- Assist with fuelling, oiling, watering, shunting and parking of vehicles.
- Able to work effectively when unsupervised after initial training
- Ensure Health and Safety at work policies, appropriate practices and procedures are always followed.
- Ensure all vehicles are checked and safe for operational use
- Monitor any defects or progress to fleet and reporting findings via the appropriate channels
- Plan and route of all vehicles and fleet returning or leaving the depot / garage
- General administration duties in line with transport legislation, company policies and procedures
- Reporting all damages or accidents and ensuring condition cards are completed
- Collaborate with various department to ensure operational standards are met
- Seeking out new good practice and implementing established quality improvement methods
- Ensuring vehicles are allocated in a timely manner to facilitate driver takeovers
Pay: £15.42-£20.56 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
