Job Introduction

As a Chef at HMP Lowdham Grange, you will oversee, instruct and support the kitchen prisoners with the preparation of meals in accordance with approved recipes and menus. You will also supervise the kitchen prisoners in the clean-up activity to maintain high standards of sanitation, safety, health standards and security.

Sodexo are responsible for 6 prison sites across the UK and Scotland and HMP Lowdham Grange is our newest prison that we have just added to our portfolio The prison is currently operated by Serco, and we will be taking over the contract on the 16th February.

Main Responsibilities
Ensure all food is prepared and handled in accordance with the relevant guidelines.
Assist to maintain efficient and secure receipt, storage and issue of foods and provisions and maintain documents related with these systems.
Complete all relevant daily paperwork
