**Site Supervisor
- Job Description**

**Location**: Dick Lovett Newport NP10 8BB
**Salary**: 12.44 per hour
**Contract**: Permanent
**Working pattern**: Part-time - 15 hours per week 6-9pm

**Job Summary**

The Site Supervisor role will be responsible for leading and driving performance across the site, our goal is to deliver the best service to our customer, oversee the cleaning team and support their personal development with the support of the Site Manager, Area/Regional Manager.

Responsible to the Site Manager.

**Cleaning services**
- To ensure the specification as set out in the specification of works (SOW) is met and customer expectations are positively managed.
- Supporting the completion of monthly audits.
- Responsible for supporting the cleaning team to ensure monthly KPIs are met and understood.
- Issue and control of staff uniform where required.
- Control of materials and equipment, including repairs, stock control and ordering within an assigned monthly budget.
- Completing and using company administration procedures.
- To provide and arrange cover and support as required, informing the line manager of changes.
- Provide training to new employees and refresher training to existing members of staff where necessary, all training is completed in the principles of BICSc.
- To support with cleaning duties where necessary.

**Employees and HR**
- Line Management responsibilities for cleaning operatives.
- To ensure on-site team understand their roles, responsibilities and what is expected of them.
- Assisting and overseeing performance management.
- Management of holiday bookings along with appropriate cover. Where site manager is present then they will be responsible for managing holiday bookings.
- Ensuring that cleaning operatives sign in and out at the beginning and end of their shift using a time and attendance system.
- Assisting with HR practices, such as wellbeing meetings and managing staff welfare, liaising either with the line manager or HR where appropriate.
- Team Building and promoting a harmonious working environment.
- To support with recruitment, including completing new starter checks and documentation where necessary.

**Health and Safety**
- Ensure that employees are adhering to H&W’s H&S policies.
- Comply with current Health and Safety Legislation.
- Report H&S concerns through the appropriate channels within a timely manner.
- Being a Health and Safety ambassador and to take a proactive approach to Health and Safety Management, promote good habits and methods of work.
- Deliver safe working practices with the site.

**Finance**
- Support the Site manager, Area Manager and Regional Manager to complete weekly time sheets and ensure they are accurate.
