Credit Controller

Due to rapid growth, we are now looking for a **Credit Controller** to join our head office in **Lymm**, in Warrington. With **149 **settings, Kids Planet Day Nurseries provides the highest standard of nursery care and education within a unique environment in which children are actively encouraged to explore, learn and interact with others.

Kids Planet Day Nurseries are a rapidly growing nursery group, almost doubled in size in the last 12 months, meaning we are continually expanding our finance team. As **Credit Controller**, you will manage the sales ledger and debt of a portfolio of nurseries within the group.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact to resolve any queries relating to invoicing or debt from parents or the nurseries themselves. You will be an active part of the growing finance department at head office, having experience in creating great customer relations and possessing excellent attention to detail.

**Credit Controller** - **Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure customers pay on time and chase any overdue invoices
- Negotiate repayment plans
- Follow the company’s debt policies and initiate legal proceedings if necessary
- Managing the sales ledger
- Production of Ledger Review Reports
- Issue of monthly statements
- Resolving invoice queries
- Parent finance queries
- Provide cover for colleagues as required
- Month-end duties
- Reconciliation of allocated sites funding from LA
- Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role

**Credit Controller - You will**:

- At least 3 years dedicated Credit Control experience
- Good level of competence in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Proven experience in a B2C environment desirable
- Confident communication skills
- An excellent telephone manner
- The ability to listen to customers and negotiate successful resolutions
- Self-motivated, calm and professional, and able to work efficiently in a busy office environment
- Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail
- Excellent Numerical ability and problem-solving skills
