Roadside Mechanic - Harlow - £37,000 - £42,000 OTE, guaranteed minimum £30,536pa

Our unprecedented growth means we now have a fantastic opportunity for skilled, field-based vehicle mechanics to join our Roadside Patrol team. Roadside is at the very heart of our business, as our Patrols deliver an exceptional and much needed service to ourmembers. Unlike working in a garage or dealership, you’ll be out and about dealing face-to-face with our customers, handling breakdowns, offering technical support, and delivering the exceptional service that they've come to expect from RAC.
You’ll come across a diverse range of breakdowns and technical issues, with the goal of fixing at least 4 out of 5 vehicles at the roadside, so technical expertise and qualifications are a must. A natural people person, you’ll get a kick out of offering muchneeded assistance with a calm and friendly approach, whatever the situation. You’ll need a minimum Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification and proven, core mechanical and diagnostic skills. And of course, you’ll also need a full driving licence
As a Roadside Patrol, you'll work between the hours of 6.00am and midnight, including weekends and bank holidays. You may also be asked to work alternative shifts at times depending on the circumstances, while there’s often an opportunity to work overtime too.
