**Project Support Officer - (Inside IR35)**

**Contract Term: 3 Months**

**Contracting Authority: Ministry of Justice (MoJ)**

**Location: Remote Working / may be visits to the nearest MOJ office as required**

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government’s ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.

**As a Project Support Officer your main responsibilities will be**:

- Understanding and experience of creation and maintenance of project or programme documentation and delivery to outputs, time and costs within project tolerances and controls for example
- Stakeholder mapping and management, insight, impact and data analysis/summary, delivery plans, monitoring and reporting of project progress across critical criteria.
- Experience in the identification and management of risks, issues, milestones and dependencies, and completion of mitigating actions and seeking agreements/trade-offs to keep delivery on track.
- Ability to work to tight timescales, managing your priorities, renegotiating deadlines and ensuring delivery of quality products to time.
- Report writing, preparing project information, progress and performance reports. Recognise and capture relevant data and statistics and research new information as required to ensure robust project reporting.
- Interpersonal skills - developing and maintaining ongoing professional stakeholder relationships.

**Essential skills**:

- Experience in the support of projects, programmes
- Microsoft Office suite
- Stakeholder engagement
- Strong communication skills
- Public and/or Private sector background- Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas._
