The CWD Team provides the service for children and young people aged 0-17, as caseloads are starting to see more prevalence of 16-17 year olds with autism, the local authority is willing to consider social workers with experience in adults with learningdisabilities as well as those working in children's services. Transferable skills, motivation, and the right attitude are all that is needed for this role.

The team is hybrid working with 2 days being based in the office where you can arrange to go on your visits, have supervisions and work alongside colleagues then 3 days from home for admin, etc. This provides you with the opportunity for an excellent work-lifebalance.

Caseloads are averaging around 20, the team is handling a variety of cases with some being low-level management who only need to be visited every 3 months and have a meeting held every 6 months. This role will give you an excellent chance to gain experiencewith a wide variety of service users as well as Deprivation of Liberties and you'll also get to create and maintain supportive and collaborative relationships with parents/families as some cases will be held for a few years.
- A Qualified Social Worker with up-to-date Social Work England registration
- In possession of a full UK driving licence and own vehicle
