**Overview**
**Duties**
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients as directed by chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking when necessary.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Help with stock management by receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills will be advantageous.
- Experience in hospitality or culinary roles will be considered an asset.
