**Job Purpose**:
A great opportunity to join the John Pye Luxury department has arisen. If you are an individual that has an interest in Watch, Jewellery, and Designer products, this role is for you

The primary purpose of the role is to support the Luxury Department in ensuring that all assets received from Government contracts and private clients are authenticated and valued.

You will report directly to the Senior Valuer, liaising with other departmental managers, and supporting clients.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a willingness to learn the authentication process and have the ambition to upskill your knowledge on designer brands. The individual will have the ability to adapt to a changeable workload, whilst working in a pressurised environment.

**Tasks will include but not be limited to**:

- Receiving stock from clients awaiting authentication and valuation.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to coordinate and facilitate the smooth running, authentication and valuation process within the deadlines.
- With training and supervision, undertake the authentication and valuation process including photographing and describing of assets.
- Conduct research on the current market trends for items requiring valuation.
- Work with the department to ensure all assets’ requiring authentication and valuation is tracked through the journey of the item.
- Support the processing of the designer, jewellery, and watch auctions when required.
- Attend government forces facilities and the potential opportunity to represent the business at the Anti-Counterfeiting trade shows.
- Maintaining transparent communication throughout.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Product knowledge would be advantageous, however full training on assessing and valuing will be provided.

Pay: £24,000-£25,000 per annum

- 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
