**Warehouse Operator with Flexi Steer Experience (Days)**

Our warehouse team at Stephen Sanderson Transport Ltd are looking for a warehouse operative to support our warehouse team at our Causeway Road (NN17 4DU) site. The role is key to ensuring a smooth running of inbound and outbound deliveries and helping deliver excellent customer service.

**Key duties**:

- Tipping and loading of all vehicles and pallets as per Health and Safety Guidelines and Safe Systems of Work policies in a timely manner
- Accurate receipt and reconciliation of in house delivers, ensuring all stock is quality checked and allocated to the appropriate areas within the warehouse
- Safe loading of stock in appropriate locations using equipment and FLT’s where necessary
- Handballing, pick and packing where required.
- Handling of Company issued equipment safely and appropriately in accordance with Company procedures
- Ensuring that any incidents (people, property, pallets) are reported immediately to the Team Leader, in accordance with Company procedures
- Follow Company procedures regarding Health & Safety and handling of freight, ensuring these are always followed
- To work to a high standard of housekeeping and warehouse hygiene in all areas including the yard
- Provide holiday/sickness cover for team members as necessary

**Requirements**:

- **Fork Lift Truck counterbalance or flexi steer licence holder (or previous licence held) - ESSENTIAL**:

- Good communication skills
- Able to learn all bay locations within the cross-dock warehouse
- Able to consistently follow Company procedures
- Pro-active attitude towards duties
- Committed and flexible
- Able to work using own initiative
- Excellent team working / building skills

**Additional Info**

This is a permanent position and is a minimum of 45 hours per week Monday to Friday (with an hours unpaid meal break), the shift times cover from early morning into the afternoon. Overtime is optional and offered. There may be the opportunity to work weekends on occasion and you may be required to support at our other local sites.

You can expect to earn between £26,000 pa to £30,000 pa including weekly contractual bonus.
