**Recoveries Support Team Leader** **Leeds Permanent** We are looking to attract a Team Leader to join DWF, an award-winning legal business. - Strong organisation skills; - Proven capability to coordinate workflow; and - Advance computer literacy skills, specifically in the Microsoft Office Suite and other essential software. The role will initially have two direct reports. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating Team members on a daily basis. As a Team Leader, you will be the point of contact for your Team members and Managers within the Department, so your communications skills should be excellent. **Main Duties**: - Day - to -day leadership responsibilities of the support team for Recoveries; - Embed and maintain a high performance culture ensuring that objective setting cascades to all team members and that the team have a clear understanding of the important contribution they make to the Department's running. - Allocating roles and responsibilities across the Team, ensuring that the utilisation of skills and expertise is maximised. - Monitoring individual team members' performance against KPIs on a regular basis and giving appropriate feedback as required to recognise/reward achievement and address/resolve underperformance in a non-judgmental way; - Creating and implementing timetables and monitoring critical services, where significant disruption would occur should these services be interrupted, including: - Actioning case opening, acknowledgment and conflict checking, in line with Client service level agreements, best practice and internal policies and processes. Ensuring attention to detail to ensure outputs are of the highest standards; - Dealing with volume mail printing, enveloping and posting, including liaising with Workplace Manager directly, should any issues arise. Making spot-checks and if finding errors, pointing out that there appear to be errors; and - Reporting to Management where it is identified that external or internal Client SLAs may be breached. - Liaising closely with other operational Team Leaders and Managers in order to: - Maximise the service levels to DWF colleagues; and with a view to - Pro-actively identify new opportunities for roles to be undertaken by Administrative Assistants within the Team. - Drafting "Playbooks" for all processes, describing "what" should be done and "how" things should be done, including avoiding the most common errors. - Measuring non-financial information on service delivery to share with Management. **Skills, Experience and Personal Characteristics** - Excellent communication skills - Demonstrable advanced computer literacy skills, including the ability to generate reports, ability to use the internet and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook. - Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy - Flexible and adaptable to deal with changing requirements, able to balance competing priorities - Be able to work effectively to meet deadlines - Embraces change, with a 'can do’ attitude - Ability to champion, promote change with an emphasis on continuous improvement. - Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced dynamic environment successfully managing multiple tasks & priorities - Experience of holding self and others accountable for the achievement of performance expectations.
