Steel Fixer

Construction Trade Solutions is looking for a hardworking, motivated Steel Fixer for an ongoing project in Stockton. If hired, you’ll be an integral part of the team.

Role: Steel Fixer

Location: Stockton

Length of contract: 1 week maybe longer

Start Date: ASAP

Hours of work: starting at 7.30

Pay rate: £19

**Duties and responsibilities of the role**

A list of duties and responsibilities for this role on any given day may include the following:

- 1.6 Tonne Tying into mesh steel
- Starter Bars Running through
- Using hand and power tools to cut and bend steel bars and mesh
- Laying out steel bars, mesh, rods, and framework
- Footings and Foundations

**About you**

You must have a valid CSCS card.

Additional tickets/qualifications that would be beneficial include but NOT essential; Level 1 Certificate in Construction Skills, Level 2 Award in Skills for Engineering, IPAF, MEWP, PASMA, First Aid, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels or any other industry related courses.

In person: Concept House, Blanche Street, Bradford, BD4 8DAr members of the construction team, good communication skills are important. You will use heavy tools and materials, requiring strength and stamina and ensuring that you are responsible for maintaining a safe working environment. Some parts of the job requires working at height and in enclosed spaced, so you need to ensure you are comfortable in this type of working environment.

**Salary**: £19.00 per hour
