We are seeking to expand our team and require a trainee testing engineer to join our small team PAT testing.

You will be required to work a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends. Usual working hours are 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday, however a flexible approach to start or finish times is required to deliver the service our customers expect. Very occasionally, overnight stays will be required (expenses will be paid).

THIS IS NOT APPRENTICESHIP WITH COLLEGE RELEASE.

Following training, the role requires you to undertake electrical safety inspections to portable equipment at our clients’ premises throughout Yorkshire and occasionally further afield.

The position is client facing as you will be liaising with our customers daily so excellent customer service is essential. You must be of smart appearance, punctual, reliable and have good communication skills with a positive and cheerful approach to work.

The position requires a **full driving licence** and own transport. You will need to attend meeting/drop off point at LS26 due to start/finishing times own transportation will be required.

Some knowledge of PAT testing is desirable but not essential, however FULL TRAINING WILL BE OFFERED TO THE RIGHT APPLICANT.

To perform the role, you will need:
Full UK driving License

Own transport, (to be able attend meeting point daily at LS26)
Strong communication skills
To be able to pass a CRB/DBS check
To be able to work independently and as part of a team
To be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
To be able to work in confined spaces and at heights.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £16,770.00-£23,000.00 per year
