What’s the opportunity?
We are looking to recruit a Regional Assistant to join our Retail Team in Anglia. This role supports the Regional Manager with retail operations, ensuring all stores operate consistently across the region.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a highly organised person who enjoys a challenge and is looking for a role where no day is the same
The role would require travelling to our stores in the Anglia region.
**What does the role involve?**:
- Management of the regions shared diary for store colleagues, to ensure that appropriate coverage is always provided in relation to key trading periods.
- Regional rota collation and submission and manage holiday planner
- Review and action and resolve where possible, any necessary steps with reference to the management of the regional debtor report.
- Responsible for monitoring and managing regional deliveries and highlighting any issues at store level whilst providing feedback to the Regional Manager.
- Identification and management of regional aged furniture and flooring orders.
- Regularly review incomplete orders, providing feedback to the Regional Manager highlighting any necessary actions.
- Provide management and store performance data for the Region as and when required.
- Ensure that all stores provide weekly payroll information, in a timely manner, prior to submission to the People team
- Collate and order any stationery or in-store requirements as and when required.
- Review and co-ordinate training needs where required
- Conduct store audits on a monthly basis, using the audit framework, providing feedback, where necessary to the Regional Manager
- Support as and when required with regional conference calls.
- Support store teams to ensure that all colleague documents are completed accurately and submitted to the people team
- Provide reports and data where necessary to the retail operations team
- Support stores with stock management control
- Monitor and if necessary feedback to the Regional Manager in relation to the management of mini distribution centres.
- Co-ordinate the Regional Decorator rota
**Who are we looking for?**:
- Experience within an admin role - ideally within retail but not essential
- Proven organisational skills and high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and to tight deadlines
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strives to achieve consistently high levels of customer service
- Ability to react quickly and confidently to challenges with a can do attitude
