We are seeking a forward thinking, highly organised professional, who, whilst working alongside the CFO (Chief Finance Officer) and central finance team, will be able to ensure that Emmaus CAT’s finance systems are robust and that there is a consistent approach to financial reporting and compliance.

The post-holder will enable the schools in their remit to have an accurate understanding of the school’s financial position through the production of annual budgets and three year plans, forecasts and monthly management accounts.

The Finance Business Partner will have responsibility for the following;
- The financial transactions of a portfolio of up to 6 primary schools;
- Budgets and forecasts for allocated schools;
- Monthly Management accounts for primary schools within portfolio;
- Assisting with the on-boarding of new primary schools joining the CAT - due diligence and budget setting;
- Developing and training the school office and business managers, working with them to develop consistent and timely month end processes;
- Assisting the CFO and central finance team with financial compliance, including internal and external audit and the controls and assurance framework.
