**Hybrid**: 2 days in the office

A financial services institution is seeking a Financial Controller to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This role will report directly into the Head of Finance and have 2 direct reports under this role plus liaising with other departments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead 2 members of staff: Management Accounting Manager & Pricing and BI Manager
- Indirect reports would include the Management Accounting Dept./ Pricing Dept./ Rec's team
- Accurate and timely production of the monthly management accounts & KPI's
- Produce & presents financial results to leadership team inc. variance analysis each month
- Submission on monthly KPI reporting to European & Africa Region and parent co.
- Management of Cost Centre reporting and monitoring the company's overheads vs plan
- Lead annual budget & forecast cycle for finance
- Provision of financial information for regulatory returns e.g., FCA & National Statistics
- Ownership of reconciliation of interfaces between source systems & general ledger (SAP)
- To oversee and manage via the Pricing dept
- Responsible for ensuring the delivery of all pricing related reporting and analytic
- Manage provision of timely pricing support & advice
- Ensure regular monitoring of support levels & performances of new business & margin
- Make recommendations on both national and niche products
- Lead in developing and refining pricing models and processes

**Requirements**:

- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACMA, FCCA) + 5yrs PQE
- Motor Industry and/or Financial Services experience
- Management Accounting experience in a similar type of role with an element of leadership
- SAP system experience and Strong Excel/Power Point skills
